Our Analyst Internship Program provides you with a meaningful introduction to Deutsche Bank. It could also serve as your introduction to a thriving and lasting career. Our internship program is recognised as one of the best in the industry and is a key source of full-time hires for our Analyst Training Program.That’s why we attract some of the most capable students from top universities.

For 8-10 weeks, you’ll take part in classroom study, on-the-job training and intensive mentoring. This will supply you with the knowledge and experience you need to achieve in our fast-paced world.

Getting started

At Deutsche Bank, an Analyst internship is a job with real responsibility. From the moment you join us, you’ll be a vital member of our team. You’ll focus on live projects and gain unique insights into our Bank and your business area. This can include hearing from and interacting with senior leadership through our Speaker Series. Throughout the program, you’ll learn first hand how Analysts and Associates meet the needs of clients across the world.

Going forward

We’ll monitor your success through formal assessments and structured feedback at the middle and end of the program. In addition, a manager will guide your weekly progress. Rest assured: your development will be intensely collaborative. Networking events will help you forge relationships with colleagues across divisions. Asset Management’s goal is simple – to make our clients’ money grow. We do so by converting this money into buildable assets. As an Intern, you’ll learn the meaning of long-term global investing. That applies to both our outlook on financial products and the duration of client relationships.

You’ll see how we utilise investment theory, quantitative tools and research to assemble compelling solutions. You may even help specialists provide investment strategies for some of the world’s biggest investors.

Getting Started

You’ll support experienced professionals, who develop products and manage high-value portfolios. Together, we’ll grow the assets of world-leading businesses, institutional investors and private individuals.

During your time with us, you’ll focus on one area of Asset Management. This could be in our Retail, Institutional, Insurance or Alternatives businesses. Within each area, you’ll work with colleagues concentrating in Business Management, Investment Management or Sales/Client Services roles. Whichever function you join, you’ll gain a well-rounded knowledge of investment strategy and financial instruments.

CIB: Asset Finance & Leasing is a highly-specialized area of investment banking. You’ll learn about the diverse product spectrum we offer through training and mentorship.  And as you help to provide comprehensive advisory or arrange services, you’ll possess a strong client focus and superb communication skills.

We provide single asset and financing options in the US, Asian and European markets. As an Intern with us, you’ll see what it takes to succeed in our business. You’ll help us execute global and local transactions for a wide range of property types, including industrial, manufactured housing, office space and retail sites.  You’ll provide in-depth analysis which will help us deliver the best solutions for our clients.

You’ll be joining an extensive global team. We’re based across approximately 39 trading floors across the world. You’ll see how and why we’re trusted by some of the world’s principal institutions, corporations and governments. Your immediate responsibilities will help us meet the exact needs of our clients.

Under the guidance of colleagues and senior management, you’ll experience first-hand the constant challenges and demands of our business. This is more than a career you’re exploring. You’ll begin with up to a week of classroom-based training. From here, you’ll get right to work. Depending on your interests, your location and our needs, you’ll rotate through two unique product and coverage areas. These can span Sales, Structuring, Trading or Research.
