GT Core Banking (GT CB)'s portfolio covers the full IT & Operations service provider range from designing new applications and processing transactions to providing HR services to employees. Our division partners with Global Transaction Banking, Private Wealth Management, Private & Business Clients and Human Resources to provide world-class technological and operational capabilities.

GT CB is headed by Wolfgang Gaertner who was elected CIO of the year 2007 by the German magazine "Computerwoche".

IT
GT CB's technology services range from strategic advisory to application development, system maintenance and enhancements. But delivering merely IT solutions was yesterday. Having implemented a new IT operating model we aligned our IT organization to the businesses we serve. The new operating model will help us to better cater to the needs of our customers by adjusting the IT strategy to the business strategy. This is a huge step toward the division's main objective - to become a strategic partner for their customers.

Operations
In the operations world, we provide our customers with services such as payments and cheque processing, business messages, cash clearing in various currencies, trade operations, handling and booking of physical valuables (travel funds, metals, securities), personalized mass printing and operations for Private Wealth Management. In addition, PCB provides HR operational services for all DB employees globally. Such responsibilities include all services around payroll and transaction management.
