Telephone banking: The procedure for entering your access data has changed

since 25 May 2025

Your new telephone banking ID will replace your previous branch and customer number.

Your new 6-digit PIN will replace your previous 5-digit telephone PIN.

Your telephone banking phone number will remain the same.

Your Deutsche Bank telephone banking was updated on 25 May 2025. For you this means that you will enter your access data a little differently and will need to create a new 6-digit PIN for yourself.

How to access telephone banking

  1. Same phone number

You can still reach Deutsche Bank telephone banking as usual on +49 69 910-10000.

  2. New: Your 12-digit telephone banking ID

In future, you will first be asked in telephone banking to enter your 12-digit telephone banking ID (e.g. 123 1234567 01). The ID is made up of your branch number (3 digits) + account number (7 digits) + authorised user number (2 digits). If you are the only person with access to your account, the authorised user number following the update will be: 01.

  3. New: Your 6-digit PIN

The first time you dial in after 25 May 2025, you authenticate yourself as usual using your 5-digit PIN. The voice computer will then ask you to enter a new 6-digit PIN.

Important information for you if you ...

Your advantage:

Since 25 May 2025, you are able to log in and then access all telephone banking accounts – both your own accounts and accounts for which you are an authorised user or representative. Further details can be found in the letter you received about the telephone banking update.

Important:

The branch/customer number and authorised user number you last used in telephone banking before May 25, 2025 determines your new ID.

Your update advantage: 2 x telephone banking – 1 x access data

Since 25 May 2025, access to your accounts is even more convenient:
Your telephone banking ID and PIN have so far only been used for Postbank telephone banking. Since 25 May 2025, this access data will also apply to Deutsche Bank telephone banking.

Specifically: Since 25 May 2025, the phone number determines your access

  • +49 69 910-10000: You dial the Deutsche Bank telephone banking number and, once you have authenticated yourself, you can access all your Deutsche Bank accounts that you have authorised for telephone banking.
  • +49 228 5500 5500: You dial the Postbank telephone banking number and, once you have authenticated yourself, you can access all your Postbank accounts that have telephone banking access.
