Tax Identification Number
Since 1st of July 2007 all individuals receive an 11-digit identification number (TIN) to ensure their unique identification within the tax system. The number will not change if you move or marry. It will remain with you for your whole life. Introduction of the number will allow an improved and more efficient use of electronic data-processing. Due to this we ask for your TIN in case you want to create or change your Tax Exemption Order.
You can find your TIN on your last notice of income tax assessment, your certificate of wage tax deduction or your wage tax card. If you do not find the TIN in one of the documents please click on the following link for further information.
