How does the mobileTAN procedure work?

When using mobileTAN, enter your transaction data as usual. On the TAN-entry page choose the tab “mobileTAN”. Click on “Request mobileTAN”.

Your online banking immediately sends an SMS with a TAN and some data of your transaction. Confirm that the data that were sent are in sync with the ones you have entered in your online banking, enter the displayed TAN and confirm with „Execute“.

How does the photoTAN procedure work?

When using photoTAN, please enter your transaction data as usual. On the TAN-entry page choose the tab “photoTAN”.

Your online banking now generates a small colored graphic – the photoTAN. Scan this picture with a smartphone app or a dedicated photoTAN device.

Your smartphone or photoTAN device now decrypts this graphic and generates a TAN. The display shows the TAN and some data of your transaction. Confirm that the data that were sent are in sync with the ones you have entered in your online banking, enter the displayed TAN and confirm with „Execute“.
